Agribusiness and Agriculture are any activity connected with the growing of food, fibre, timber and foliage including, but not limited to, research, cropping, intensive horticulture, animal husbandry, intensive animal industry, aquaculture, production nursery, water storage, irrigation and drainage works; the storage of equipment for the production and transport of agricultural products; and the on-farm processing, packaging, storage and sale of agricultural products. New technologies are being introduced to improve productivity, including GPS-guided tractors, computerised irrigation systems, unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) and food packaging innovations.

Our strengths lie in our innovative trial research work in broadacre and horticulture crop protection, along with our expertise in support for plant breeding programs. and short courses in the areas of Disability and Community Services.
Our nationally accredited courses drive quality outcomes by offering hands-on, job-ready training, delivered by industry experts.
In addition to standard VET pathways, we offer school-based traineeships for Year 12 students wishing to study the CHC33015 Certificate III Individual Support (Disability).
Our VET in School courses on offer through TGSS funding are CHC33015 Individual Support (Disability)
and AHC20416 Certificate II in Horticulture.
